Simi Valley: Solo Crash Leaves Two Dead, Three Injured

10.24.2019 | 9:44 PM | SIMI VALLEY – Two people were dead and three others were seriously injured after the vehicle they were riding in collided with a tree, Thursday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision involving a tree near the intersection of East Los Angeles and Emory avenues around 9:44 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a single vehicle that had collided with a tree in an apparent high-speed crash.

Firefighter paramedics discovered a total of five victims suffering from major injuries.

Two victims were pronounced deceased on scene and three others were transported to area hospitals in serious condition.

The circumstances surrounding the crash are under investigation.
