Simi Valley: Solo Crash Leaves Driver Dead

08.25.2020 | 3:38 AM | SIMI VALLEY – A solo crash left the driver of a box truck dead, early Tuesday morning.

The rollover crash was first reported on the westbound SR-118 Freeway near Madera Road around 3:38 AM.

Units arriving on scene found a box truck on its side blocking westbound lanes.

The driver and solo occupant inside the truck was trapped and later pronounced deceased on scene.

No other vehicles were believed to be involved and the cause of the crash is under investigation.
