Simi Valley: Officers Wrangle Loose Cows
05.28.2020 | 8:40 PM | SIMI VALLEY – Several officers wrangled a herd of cattle that escaped a ranch, Thursday night.
Officers responded to reports of cows roaming in the 2900 block of Madera Road near the SR-118 Freeway around 8:40 PM.
Units arriving on scene located the group of about 8 cows and bulls that had escaped a nearby ranch.
The officers worked to corral the cattle and guided them to a dead end where they eventually made their way back to the ranch.
Law enforcement contacted the owner of the ranch who was responding to secure the animals.
It is believed the cattle escaped through a hole in the ranch’s fencing.
