Simi Valley: CHP Officers Rescue Ducks From Freeway

05.21.2020 | 5:50 PM | SIMI VALLEY – Officers from the California Highway Patrol rescued a family of ducks from a freeway, Thursday evening.

Officers responded to reports of a mother duck and ducklings walking on the shoulder of the westbound SR-118 Freeway near Madera Road around 5:50 PM.

Units arriving on scene located the ducks near the center divider and assisted them to a grassy embankment.

The family of ducks did not appear injured.
