Signall Hill: Plane Makes Emergency Landing On City Street

04.01.2019 | 10:18 AM | SIGNAL HILL – A pilot executed a successful on a city street, Monday morning.

Authorities responded to an aircraft emergency in the 2700 block of Orange Avenue around 10:18 AM.

Units arriving on scene found a Piper PA-28-181 Archer (N80853) that had executed a successful emergency landing on to Orange Avenue.

The solo pilot on board was uninjured and reportedly executed the landing after running out of the fuel.

Officials closed off both direction of Orange Avenue while they investigated the circumstances surrounding the emergency landing.
