Shots Fired Incident in Gaslamp Quarter, Three Detained | San Diego
04.15.2022 | 12:44 AM | SAN DIEGO – A SDPD Bicycle Officer heard a gunshot come from an occupied car and saw it go into a parking lot at the above intersection.
A “Hot Stop” was conducted by the officers and 3 males were detained.
The one male in the backseat of the vehicle told the officers that he had a loaded Glock in the backseat.
His hands were bagged to save any evidence of gunshot residue on his hands for the investigation.
It’s not known if the shot was fired at a person, at an object, or into the air.
