Shots Fire at Downtown Los Angeles Street Take Over

1. At approximately 1:15 a.m. on February 14th, 2026, gunfire erupted during a fight at a street takeover near 18th Street and Main Street in Downtown Los Angeles.Responding officers located one victim down on the sidewalk. A second victim was reported to have self-transported to a hospital for treatment.

   Los Angeles Police Department officers secured the scene and began their investigation. The circumstances leading up to the fight and shooting remain under investigation.
