Shooting Suspect Leads Officers on Pursuit | San Diego

10.21.2022 | 6:23 PM | SAN DIEGO – Police responded to a report of a shooting and found a male down on the sidewalk next to the parking lot.

The male was transported (rushed) with unknown injuries to a local hospital.

A description of the suspects and their car were given to the Officers.

A car matching the description was spotted on the 1800 blk of Rosecrans Ave and the officers attempted to stop the vehicle.

The driver fled westbound at high speeds (60+ mph) and went into the oncoming traffic lanes attempting to get away.

The driver finally stopped on Midway Dr., the Police were able to detain one of the male suspects as he was fleeing on foot.

The other 2 suspects managed to get away at this time.

There were several witnesses and they are cooperating the Police.

The Police are investigating.
