Shooting Leads to Six Hour Standoff | Crestline

05.15.2022 | 12:30 PM | CRESTLINE – At sometime just after noon first responders were dispatched to reports of a gun shot victim in Crestline.

Upon arriving on scene, first responders found a single victim had been shot in the arm and was immediately transported by ground ambulance.

Shortly after law enforcement was advised that the suspect had barricaded himself inside the residence.

SBSO immediately requested the road shut down and have attempted to make contact with the suspect.

The Sheriffs S.W.A.T. team was called and a drone has been in the air and the sheriffs helicopter has made several trips to patrol the area.

This stand-off has now been going on for about 6 hours, SWAT has the house surrounded and some heavy equipment has been brought it.

The area remains locked down.

All local residents have been told to shelter in place as the stand off continues.
