At around 8:30 PM on August 26, 2024, multiple gunshots were reported in the vicinity of 114 East Station Avenue, Cooperburg. The shots were fired from an AR-style rifle. Upon arrival, law enforcement officers discovered a male individual who was significantly injured and covered in blood. The injured male was promptly transported to a hospital for medical treatment under police custody. The motive behind the shooting and the identity of the shooter remains under investigation.
