Sheared Fire Hydrant Causes Geyser | San Diego
11.9.22 | 11:00 am | San Diego – The male driver of a semi-truck with a trailer was making a right-hand turn from eastbound Civic Center Dr onto southbound Wilson Ave.
He cut the corner too closely and hit the street and then the fire hydrant.
The water was shooting approx 50-55 feet into the air and broke several tree branches of the street standing next to the hydrant.
The driver stopped and cooperated with the Police.
Sweetwater Authority employees arrived to get the water flow stopped.
