Shadow Hills: House Fire Injures Two
12.15.2019 | 4:14 AM | LOS ANGELES – Two people suffered injuries related to smoke inhalation after a fire burned through a home, early Sunday morning.
Authorities responded to reports of a residential structure fire in the 9900 block of Sunland Boulevard in the Shadow Hills area around 4:14 AM.
Units arriving on scene located a single-story, single-family home with heavy smoke and fire showing.
Crews initiated an aggressive fire attack and worked for more than 50 minutes to contain the blaze.
Two residents, a man and a woman, suffered from smoke inhalation while evacuating their two dogs from the burning home.
Firefighter paramedics transported both victims to an area hospital in fair condition.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
