Shadow Hills: Fireworks Spark Two-Acre Brush Fire

07.04.2020 | 11:24 PM | LOS ANGELES – A two-acre brush that was reportedly sparked by fireworks was extinguished, late Saturday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a brush fire burning in the 9900 block of Edmore Place in the Shadow Hills area around 11:24 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a fire burning on the hillside that residents said was sparked by fireworks.

Firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze while officers detained two suspects.

Investigators are responding to the scene to determine if the individuals in custody sparked the brush fire.
