Several Pets Perish In RV Fire

DETAILS:
- Cal Fire, Riverside County, Perris responded to reports of a vehicle fire that was being put out by people at the scene.
- As the fire crews were enroute they got reports that the fire was growing and that there were several animals trapped inside the vehicle, which was an RV.
- Additional units, including a water tender were added to the call.
- In the video you can see the RV fully involved with fire and firefighters doing CPR on the dogs as well as unresponsive animals being brought over to them.
- At least 2 dogs and a cat perished in the fire.
- The RV was a total loss.
- The location is a popular Christmas Tree Farm called Sand Haven Pines Christmas Tree Farm
- The cause of the fire in unknown.
