Several Hour Long Pursuit Ends In Crash | Los Angeles

11.16.22 | 10:53 PM – 1:18 AM | Los Angeles – Just before 11:00 PM, LAPD Newton located an occupied stolen vehicle.

The driver failed to yield, leading officers from numerous law enforcement agencies and stations on a high speed pursuit lasting around 2 and a half hours.

The pursuit looped through South LA, LAX, Culver City, San Pedro, Long Beach, East LA, Fullerton, Downey, and finally ended in Downtown LA.

The suspect crashed into an innocent driver at Pico Blvd and San Pedro St.

Both occupants of the stolen vehicle fled.

One was detained, but negatively identified as the suspect so they were released at the scene.

At this time, it appears no one is in custody.
