Several Dead After Plane Crashes into 2 Houses and UPS Van | Santee

10.11.2021 | 12:15 PM | SANTEE – Cessna-type plane crashed into 2 homes and also hit a UPS van. It’s unknown how many people were in the plane, or how many people may have been in the home. The driver of the UPS van was killed, the pilot is also presumed dead The house was completely destroyed. A resident told us that she heard the plane coming in low, and the engine was sputtering. The plane crashed into the home and a huge explosion took place. 2 ambulances left the scene. Residents around the crash site were evacuated. UPDATE: The plane was a Cessna 340A flying from Yuma, Az to Montgomery Gibbs Executive Airport in San Diego. Several homes were damaged along with the two that were destroyed.
