Several Arrested After Unruly Crowd Forms

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 10pm 10-26-24
LOCATION: 54th and Broadway
AREA/CITY: South LA
DETAILS:

1. LAPD responded to a unknown call at the above address
2. Officers attempted to detain a female for an unknown reason as seen in the video and a crowd started forming
3. A backup request was made on the radio and officers formed a skirmish line
4. Due to officers fighting with suspects a help call was put out and multiple divisions responded to the incident
5. Officers had rifles pointed at the 54th smoke shop and were making call outs and at least three people were taken into custody
