Serious Two-Car Collision with Entrapment in Anaheim

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 9-26-23,
LOCATION: SB 5 and Brookhurst Street Off-Ramp
CITY: Anaheim
DETAILS:

1. California Highway Patrol, Westminster office, and Anaheim Fire and Rescue responded to a reported two-car collision with entrapment.
2. When units arrived, they found a Minivan that was overturned and two occupants trapped.
3. Firefighters extricated them, extrication took approximately 18 minutes.
4. Both occupants were transported to a local area hospital in an unknown condition.
5. The people in the second vehicle suffered minor injuries and were not transported.
6. At this time, it appears that speed may have been a factor
