Serious Injury Accident In La Mesa

DETAILS:

1. the elderly male driver of a truck was westbound on High St. when for unknown reasons, left the roadway, went up the right shoulder embankment, and hit a rock wall.
2. The truck came back down to the street and flipped onto its side.
3. The male had to be extricated from the wreckage and the firefighters cut the roof off of the cab.
4. The victim was rushed to a local hospital.
5. He appeared to have head and arm injuries.
