Serious Crash Leaves SUV Flipped in San Pedro Intersection

DETAILS:

1. A Toyota Highlander SUV crashed into another SUV at the intersection, flipping the Highlander onto its roof.
2. The crash left the Highlander driver trapped in his overturned car.
3. Firefighters responded and rescued the driver, transporting him in critical condition, LAFD Spokesman Brian Humphrey said in an alert regarding the crash.
4. The driver of the other SUV was taken to the hospital in fair condition.
5. Officers are investigating the crash.
