Semi Truck Carrying Yogurt Smoothies Catches Fire
A fully loaded semi-truck caught fire early Monday morning, briefly igniting nearby vegetation along the Interstate 15 on-ramp in Devore.
At approximately 1:36 a.m. on July 14, 2026, California Highway Patrol officers and San Bernardino County Fire crews responded to reports of a truck fire on the Glen Helen Road on-ramp to the southbound 15 Freeway.
The first arriving engine found the semi-truck fully engulfed in flames, with the fire extending into the trailer and nearby vegetation.
Firefighters quickly stopped the vegetation fire before turning their attention to the burning truck.
After speaking with the driver, crews learned the trailer was fully loaded with yogurt smoothies.
Within approximately 15 to 20 minutes, firefighters brought the blaze under control, limiting damage to the surrounding vegetation.
The U.S. Forest Service and Cal Fire assisted San Bernardino County Fire crews during the incident.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
