Semi Truck And Sedan Flip Over, Causing Messy Scene in Los Angeles

12.17.2020 | 2:17 AM | SYLMAR – A sedan and a semi-truck carrying whey protein collided on the freeway, sending an absolute mess onto the Golden State Freeway Thursday morning.

LAFD & CHP officers responded to reports of an overturned tanker truck with one sedan overturned on the Northbound I-5 at Roxford.

LAFD arrived on scene to locate a white sedan on its roof unoccupied, the driver unaccounted for.

A tanker carrying WPC (whey protein) was also overturned with its contents spilled all across the freeway.

CHP closed ALL northbound lanes of the freeway for about 4 hours as crews cleaned up the mess.

The driver of the semi sustained minor injuries and was transported as a precaution to a local hospital.
