Sedan Overturns After Striking Center Divider In San Bernardino

A driver was hospitalized following a single-vehicle rollover crash early Thursday morning near the San Bernardino-Rialto border.

The crash was reported around 1:56 a.m. on September 17, 2026, on West Baseline Street east of North Meridian Avenue.

San Bernardino police and Rialto firefighters arrived to find a sedan overturned with the driver still inside. The driver was transported to a hospital with injuries of unknown severity.

According to the initial investigation, the sedan failed to maintain its lane, struck the center divider and overturned. No other vehicles were reported to be involved.

San Bernardino police closed westbound Baseline Street while crews cleared the wreckage and waited for a tow truck.
