Second Alarm Fire Destroys Townhome in San Marcos

DETAILS:
- At around 2:55 AM reports of a fire came out in an apartment complex.
- Firefighters arrived and encountered a fully involved townhome.
- Firefighters began to defensive attack and we’re alerted of a dog in the backyard of the home.
- Firefighters quickly broke down the rear fence and were able to rescue the dog.
- The fire was upgraded to a second alarm due to the intensity.
- At this time, the cause of the fires unknown at this time Boat remains under investigation.
