Search for Human Smuggler | San Diego

04.04.2022 | 2:30 AM | SAN DIEGO – 1st Responders were called into a rescue at C.N.M for Undocumented Immigrants and their male smuggler who had crashed their jet ski into the rocks at the Tidepool area of the National Monument.

There were reportedly 3 people onboard the personal watercraft.

A male and female swam to shore, but the Smuggler reportedly never made it to the shoreline.

The 2 immigrants were pulled up to safety and detained by the U.S. Border Patrol.

A search from Sea, Air, & Land ended at approx 6:30 am with no one found.

Boats and Ships in the area were alerted to be on the lookout for the person.
