SDPD Searches For Suspect Who Shot Police Officer

LOCATION: University Ave & Shiloh Rd
CITY: San Diego
DETAILS:

1. Police are looking for a male suspect who fired twice at a San Diego Police Officer.
2. The officer was hit at least one time, and we were told he was hit in the arm.
3. He was rushed to a local hospital.
4. A perimeter was set up quickly as officers were searching for the male suspect.
5. allied agencies responded in force when the 11-99 (officer down) call went out.
6. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 5’8″ tall, and 150# pounds
7. We do not know what led up to the shooting at this time.
8. SWAT has been called in.
