SDPD Officer Involved Crash | San Diego

12.24.2021 | 4:00 AM | SAN DIEGO – A suspect had stolen a truck from a business on Airway Rd and the owner was pursuing the suspect. SDPD officers were responding to the call. One officer was eastbound on the I-905 when for an unknown reason she collided with the rear end of a semi-truck w/ trailer. Her patrol vehicle spun out and was facing the wrong direction in the #1 lane. The freeway traffic was re-directed to Caliente Ave as a detour as the freeway was closed.
