Scooter Thrown Onto 110 Freeway Damages Multiple Cars

At approximately 12:30 a.m. on April 21, 2026, multiple vehicles were damaged after a scooter was thrown onto the northbound 110 Freeway between Adams Boulevard and the 10 Freeway in downtown Los Angeles.

Authorities reported that a Lime scooter was tossed from an overpass, striking several vehicles traveling below. At least seven vehicles sustained damage ranging from flat tires to significant mechanical issues.

One vehicle became disabled with the scooter lodged underneath, causing fluids to leak onto the roadway.

California Highway Patrol temporarily shut down the freeway as crews worked to clear the scene and assess the damage.

Officials noted this was the second incident in the area that night involving objects being thrown onto the freeway.

The investigation remains ongoing.
