SBSO Patrol Vehicle Decimated in Crash | Chino Hills

05.22.2022 | 2:20 AM | CHINO HILLS – A traffic collision occurred between a San Bernardino County Sheriff’s vehicle and a sedan at the intersection of Soquel Canyon Pkwy and Butterfield Ranch Rd.

Initial reports stated that the patrol car started to smoke after the collision.

It’s unknown if the patrol car caught fire.

Its believed the deputy was transported to a hospital in unknown condition.

Another party was transported with what appeared as minor injuries.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.

It’s unknown if the deputy was responding to the shooting in the area.
