Santa Monica: Motorcyclist Hospitalized After Freeway Crash

11.05.2018 | 11:47 PM | SANTA MONICA – A motorcyclist was hospitalized after a crash on the I-10 freeway, late Monday night.

Officers responded just before midnight to the eastbound I-10 freeway just east of Lincoln Boulevard regarding a reported motorcyclist down in lanes.

Units arriving on scene found a male motorcyclist who had apparently been thrown from his motorcycle and was laying in lanes approximately 100 feet away.

Firefighter paramedics arrived on scene and treated the victim on scene before transporting him to an area hospital in unknown condition.

A SigAlert was issued as the California Highway Patrol’s West Los Angeles Office investigated.
