Santa Fe Springs: Suspicious Death Investigation Underway

11.05.2019 | 7:49 AM | SANTA FE SPRINGS – A suspicious death investigation was underway after a man was found dead on a sidewalk, Tuesday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a man down on the sidewalk in the 9800 block of Painter Avenue around 7:49 AM.

Units arriving on scene located an adult male with obvious signs of death.

Evidence located near the man suggested a crime had transpired and a crime scene was established while homicide investigators responded to investigate.

Additional information regarding the death and subsequent investigation was not immediately available.
