Santa Fe Springs: Shooting Crash Involving Taco Truck Injures One

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision involving a taco truck near the intersection of Florence Avenue and Pioneer Boulevard around 8:55 AM.
Units arriving on scene located a two vehicle crash involving a taco truck and a silver Volvo sedan with one person suffering from a gunshot wound.
Firefighter paramedics treated the male victim suffering from a gunshot wound on scene before transporting him to St. Francis Hospital in unknown condition.
Officers cordoned off the area while they investigated the circumstances surrounding the crash and shooting.
A white Dodge Charger was reportedly seen fleeing the scene but it was unclear how the vehicle might be related.
