Santa Fe Springs: Pedestrian Critically Injured After Hit & Run Crash

09.13.2019 | 7:07 PM | SANTA FE SPRINGS – A man was critically injured after being struck by a hit and run driver, Friday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision involving a pedestrian near the intersection of Florence and Shoemaker avenues around 7:07 PM.

Units arriving on scene located an adult male down in lanes suffering from injuries consistent with being struck by a vehicle.

Firefighter paramedics treated the victim on scene before transporting him to St. Francis Medical Center in critical condition.

Witnesses reported that the vehicle that struck the victim was a Honda Accord of Toyota Prius.

Authorities cordoned off the intersection while they investigated.
