Santa Fe Springs: Man Killed After Crash Into Tree

02.25.2020 | 10:48 PM | SANTA FE SPRINGS – A man was killed after crashing into a tree, Tuesday night.

Authorities responded to reports of traffic collision near the intersection of Florence and Flallon avenues around 10:48 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a dark-colored Honda CR-V that had struck a tree.

The driver of the car, a male, was trapped inside the vehicle.

Firefighter paramedics accessed the man using the Jaws of Life but pronounced him deceased on scene.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
