Santa Clarita: Crews Quickly Extinguish Suspicious Brush Fire

Authorities responded to reports of a brush fire burning near the intersection of Sempra and Gravett places around 12:40 AM.
Units arriving on scene located an quarter-acre brush fire burning in moderate brush behind a condominium complex.
An aerial water drop quickly stopped the blaze from spreading but firefighters remained on the ground to ensure no hotspots emerged.
Witnesses reported seeing a group of teens fleeing the area around the time the fire started.
No injuries or property damage was reported.
