Santa Ana: Woman Dead, Man Injured After Shooting

08.29.2019 | 11:55 PM | SANTA ANA – A woman was dead and a man hospitalized after a shooting, late Thursday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a shooting with victims down in the 500 block of Pine Street around 11:55 PM.

Units arriving on scene located two victims down suffering from gunshot wounds.

Firefighter paramedics pronounced one victim, an adult female, deceased on scene and transported the other, an adult male, to an area trauma center in unknown condition.

Police cordoned off the area surrounding the shooting while they investigated.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting were not immediately known.
