Santa Ana: Truck Crashes Into Power Pole, Causes Power Outage
04.21.2020 | 2:09 AM | SANTA ANA – A pickup truck crashed into a power pole causing it to collapse and leaving a neighborhood without power, early Tuesday morning.
Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision involving a power pole in the 2100 block of North Bristol Street around 2:09 AM.
Units arriving on scene located a grey Toyota Tacoma pickup truck that crashed into a power pole causing it to collapse.
A large power outage in the surrounding neighborhoods occurred as a result of the crash prompting Southern California Edison crews to respond.
It was unclear if the driver of the vehicle was injured as a result of the crash.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
