Santa Ana: Teenage Girl Injured In Car-To-Car Shooting

07.07.2019 | 8:25 PM | SANTA ANA – A teenage girl was hospitalized after being shot in a car-to-car shooting, Sunday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a shooting near the intersection of Main and Flora streets around 8:25 PM.

Units arriving on scene found a lowrider-type vehicle occupied by a 17-year-old male and a 14-year-old female suffering from a gunshot wound.

Firefighter paramedics treated the female passenger on scene before transporting her to an area hospital in unknown condition.

Initial reports indicate the couple was traveling on Main Street when a vehicle pulled alongside them an opened fire in an apparently random shooting.

Authorities cordoned off the area while they worked to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
