Santa Ana: Stolen Box Truck Pursuit Ends After Standoff

The vehicle finally came to a stop at Hyde Park & Newport Ave, The driver of the vehicle refused commands from officers to get out of the vehicle. A Police van was brought in to box in the truck. A officer in the van fired a less than lethal round through the windshield to break it (unknown if it hit the suspect), The officer in the van then fired his taser at the suspect. After less than lethal was used against the suspect he complied with commands and exited the vehicle. The Suspect was taken into custody.
