Santa Ana: Pursuit Ends With Crash, Officer Injured (Caught On Camera)

08.06.2020 | 10:27 PM | SANTA ANA – A pursuit ended with a crash that left three people injured, including a police officer, Thursday night.

Officers were in pursuit of a vehicle for unknown reasons in the city of Santa Ana around 10:00 PM.

The pursuit continued at high-speeds on city streets and was caught on cellphone video by Prince Coloma, a Santa Ana resident, as the suspect vehicle ran a red light and crashed into another motorist.

The wild crash caused the suspect vehicle to spin out and strike a police vehicle.

Ultimately the crash left the suspect, a police officer, and a civilian motorist injured.

All three were transported to area hospitals by firefighter paramedics.

Their conditions were not immediately known.

It was unclear what charges the suspect might be facing.
