Santa Ana: Police Investigate Shooting Outside 7-Eleven Store

12.05.2018 | 8:20 PM | SANTA ANA – Police were searching for clues after a shooting outside a convenience store left one person hospitalized, Wednesday night.

Police and fire officials responded to the reported shooting outside a 7-Eleven convenience store in the 100 block of South Harbor Boulevard around 8:20 PM.

Units arriving on scene found were unable to locate a victim but were quickly alerted to a man who arrived at a nearby hospital suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim, described as a male in his 20s, suffered non-life-threatening wounds but was transferred to an area trauma center for treatment.

Police cordoned off the area while they searched for clues and interviewed witnesses.

No suspect information was immediately available.
