Santa Ana: Pedestrian Seriously Injured After Being Struck By Car

10.06.2019 | 1:15 AM | SANTA ANA – A pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by a car, early Sunday morning.

Authorities responded to a traffic collision involving a pedestrian near the intersection of Sydney Drive and Strawberry Lane around 1:15 AM.

Units arriving on scene located a pedestrian down in the roadway suffering from injuries after being struck by a vehicle.

Firefighter paramedics treated the pedestrian on scene before transporting them to an area hospital in serious condition.

A white Dodge Charger was found stopped near where the pedestrian was struck however it was unknown if the vehicle was related.

Officials have declined to release any information and it is unknown if the incident is a hit-and-run.

The area surrounding the crash was closed off as a crime scene while police investigated.
