Santa Ana: Package From Wuhan, China Prompts Hazmat Response

08.04.2020 | 10:20 PM | SANTA ANA – A suspicious package from Wuhan, China prompted a hazmat response at a police station, Tuesday night.

A family brought a suspicious package from Wuhan, China that they were not expecting to the Santa Ana Police Department at 60 Civic Center Drive around 10:20 PM.

Due to the nature of the package a hazmat team responded to determine if it posed any threat.

Officers inside the police station had to shelter in place while the package was analyzed.

Teams later deemed the package safe.

It is unclear what was inside but the recipient reported being concerned by recent reports of seeds being sent from China.
