Santa Ana: Officers Injured After Patrol Car Strikes Patrol Motorcycle

11.17.2019 | 9:42 PM | SANTA ANA – Two officers, including a motor officer, were injured after their patrol vehicles collided, Sunday night.

The crash occurred in the 1300 block of West McFadden Avenue around 9:42 PM when a police motorcycle officer was struck by a sergeant driving a marked patrol vehicle.

Firefighter paramedics responded to the scene and treated both officers before transporting them to UCI Medical Center in stable condition.

It was unclear if the officers had their emergency lights and siren activated when the crash occurred or if they were responding to a call.

The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation.
