Santa Ana: Man Found Shot To Death

06.29.2020 | 1:49 AM | SANTA ANA – A man was found shot to death on a sidewalk, early Monday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of shots fired near the intersection of Western Avenue and Fifth Street around 1:49 AM.

Units arriving on scene located a man down suffering from multiple gunshot wounds on the sidewalk in the 1700 block of Fifth Street.

Firefighter paramedics rendered aid but later pronounced the male victim deceased on scene.

The area surrounding the shooting was cordoned off while detectives investigated.
