Santa Ana: Man Dead After Being Hit By Car

12.10.2018 | 9:26 PM | SANTA ANA – A man was dead after being hit by a car, Monday night.

Ponce and fire officials responded to reports of a vehicle versus pedestian crash near the intersection of First and Baker streets shortly before 9:30 PM.

Units arriving on scene discovered an approximately 50-year-old man deceased in the roadway.

The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and cooperated with authorities during their investigation.

It was unclear if the man was in a crosswalk or whether drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash.
