Santa Ana: House Fire Displaces Family

08.03.2020 | 11:09 PM | SANTA ANA – A family was displaced after a fire broke out at their home, late Monday night.

Authorities responded to the reported fire in the 1300 block of South Mohawk Drive around 11:09 PM.

Units arriving on scene found a single-story home with a fully engulfed garage and flames spreading to the attic.

Crews worked for about 15 minutes to extinguish the blaze and rescued several cats from the home.

No injuries were reported.

The family of nine that resides at the home was displaced and being assisted by the Red Cross.

Fire investigators are on scene working to determine the cause of the blaze.
