Santa Ana: Halloween Party Shooting Injures One

10.31.2019 | 11:01 PM | SANTA ANA – A man was injured after being struck by gunfire while at a Halloween party, late Thursday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a shooting at a residence in the 2200 block of South Orange Avenue near East Anahurst Place around 11:01 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a man down in the street suffering from two gunshot wounds.

Firefighter paramedics treated the man on scene before transporting him to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Initial reports indicate the man was shot while attending a Halloween party in the backyard of the home.

No suspect description or motive was immediately available.
