Santa Ana: Child Safe After Car Crashes Into Bedroom

01.02.2020 | 9:20 PM | SANTA ANA – A vehicle slammed into a bedroom as a child slept but thankfully nobody was seriously injured, Thursday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision involving a structure in the 2600 block of Saint Gertrude Place around 9:20 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a silver Volvo sedan that had crashed into the bedroom of a single-story home.

A six-year-old child was sleeping inside the bedroom at the time of the crash but was spared from injury.

The driver of the sedan was not seriously injured but was transported to an area hospital for evaluation.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
