Santa Ana: Car To Car Shooting Hospitalizes Man

11.26.2018 | 12:05 AM | SANTA ANA – A man in his 20s was hospitalized but his female passenger was uninjured after a car to car shooting, early Monday morning.

Police and fire officials responded to a reported shooting with a victim down near the intersection of South Evergreen Street and East Warner Avenue shortly after midnight.

Units arriving on scene found a man in his 20s who was reportedly shot while behind the wheel of his vehicle.

Firefighter paramedics treated the man on scene and transported him to an area hospital in unknown condition.

The driver’s passenger, a female, was inside the vehicle at the time of the shooting but not struck.

Police were searching for the shooter who they suspect was driving another vehicle when the shooting took place.
